Tai Koo Shing, Hong Kong
The Night Market is a contemporary Taiwanese dining eatery inspired by the food memories of the owner’s childhood and the distinctive flavours of Taipei’s street-food stalls. Combining those memories and taste sensations with a uniquely designed space, the restaurant is its own modern-day market that is vibrant, casual and fuss-free.
The team behind the Taiwanese restaurant commissioned Julie Progin to design a set of new illustrations and branding elements for their third location in Tai Koo Shing Cityplaza. Elaborating on the branding designed by Latitude 22N Julie Progin created some new characters such as the octopus gone wild or the strong tin robot to inject a dose of fun, new, modern and witty designs throughout the interior.
